Farewell To The Pharaoh: Australian Museum Gala
With one million visitors annually, The Australian Museum is a bonafide institution of education, information and culture within Sydney/Eora.

Amongst the much-lauded ‘Ramses & the Gold of the Pharaohs’ exhibition, Layers was tasked to create and manage the Australian Museum’s annual fundraising gala; with the 2024 edition themed ‘Farewell To The Pharoah’.

Layers helped consult on entertainment, lighting, catering, logistics and floorplans as well as executing the run of the evening (including the bump in/out, stage and talent management).

Featuring appearances from the likes of Sandra Sully (TV presenter, Channel Ten), Kim McKay (Director & CEO, Australian Museum) the Hon. John Graham (NSW Minister for Arts), Layers delivered a record-breaking night of fundraising in a new cocktail night format; exceeding previous expectations while staying within a tight budget.
