Introducing one of Sydney’s most stylish new developments in a thriving inner-west locale: Coronation Property's Ashbury Terraces.
Brief:
On the cusp of opening, Layers was approached to launch and activate Coronation Property's Ashbury Terraces development.
The event was to act as a welcome day for owners to meet their neighbours, as well as a showcase of the high-end lifestyle afforded by the properties, generating sales momentum for prospective new buyers.
The Concept:
Take a stroll through Ashbury Terraces, the latest addition to Sydney’s thriving Inner West locale.
Bringing the local community together, our 2025 Ashbury Open Day offered a glimpse of the lifestyle of living at this luxurious new development. Set amongst its generous green space and stunning central pool area, guests found music, food, beverages and entertainment for all ages - not to mention the new neighbours mingling amongst the newly-finished contemporary terraces and apartments.
With coffee carts, a juice and mojito bar, pizza and Vietnamese bites on hand serving refreshments, more than 800 guests enjoyed live music and family-friendly activities (such as face painting and balloon twisting) around Ashbury’s sparkling blue central pool and garden area.
For those who came to explore a little deeper, the Coronation staff and sales team were on hand to show guests through the range of new homes and answer questions, with Fisher & Paykel’s team collaborating with local bakers The Tart Sisters to demonstrate the in-built suite of appliances.
The event did the commercial work without feeling like it, with three apartments sold on the day. The Coronation sales team reported strong interest from prospective buyers, with a substantial increase in their sales database as a direct result of the activation.
Coronation Property's response was to reengage Layers to launch their Lilian development in Erskineville: a two-week pop-up activation with live music, local vendors, giveaways and a display apartment open to the public.
From friends to family to neighbours, owners and beyond, guests left the Ashbury Terrace Open Day excited for this new, tight-knit community in the heart of Sydney’s thriving cultural scene.
